The Toshiba line has been know to have some Green Push, they dont all have it some do some dont some people cant tell if they do and others might be brainwashed into thinking it does lol.

just look at the blacks of the tv and if you see too much green tint in shadows ect.

Color Balance with the factory settings was very close to being correct. You will be amazed at the picture quality of this Toshiba 47hl167 once you get it set up properly.

From what I've been reading around here (and seen in person) Toshiba HL167 series seems to be hit or miss in quality, with the later manufactured sets offering better pictures. However this set was marked down $700.00. BUT, I spent a lot of time setting mine up - thanks to this forum! It had the brightest picture, but the colors were absolutely horrible. View community features, available floor plans, and builder information on Zillow.com. Is there something wrong with this model and make? I wasn't really considering LCD because of the price.

i saw it in BB yesterday, and i was shocked. It blows away my friend's Sony.

Spend the money and get a professional HDTV setup on DVD to set your contrast, grayscale, and color balance. it might have green push issue that cant be corrected with normal color adjusting and screen settings. On a red scene every other TV looked red, and this looked orangish yellowish. I wasn't

I am very happy with my 42HL167. Factory settings are horrible.

I liked the 5080, 71, and the xbr4 the most. If we walked out with a TV it would have been the Toshiba. This property is not currently available for sale. I looked up some of the threads and they all but don't exist.

I just couldn't take my eyes off the Toshiba 47HL167.
